Terms

1. Diagnostic Fee:
– A non-refundable diagnostic fee is required before any repair work begins. This fee will be applied to the total repair cost if you choose to proceed with the repair.

2. Repair Authorization:
– No repairs will be undertaken without customer approval. An estimate will be provided after diagnostics, and repairs will commence once we receive your consent.

3. Repair Timeframe:
– Most repairs are completed within 3-7 business days. If parts need to be ordered, repair times may vary based on part availability.

4. Parts Replacement:
– Whenever possible, we aim to repair a part before replacing it. If a part costs $99 or less, we will replace it without prior approval. For parts exceeding $99, we will contact you for authorization before proceeding.

5. Payment Terms:
– Full payment is required upon completion of the repair. We accept various payment methods, but store credit cannot be used for parts or repair costs. All services are non-refundable.

6. Unclaimed Items:
– Items not picked up within 30 days after notification of completion will be considered abandoned and may be subject to disposal or resale to cover the cost of repairs.

7. Warranty:
– Repairs are warranted for 90 days from the date of completion. This warranty covers only the specific repair performed and does not cover any unrelated issues that may arise.

8. Liability:
– While we take utmost care with your equipment, we are not responsible for any data loss. We recommend backing up your data before bringing in your projector for repair.

9. Responsibility for Damage:
– You are responsible for any damage to the equipment while it is in your possession. If the equipment is damaged while in our care, we will take responsibility and cover the cost of repairs or replacement.

10. Cancellation Policy:
– If you choose to cancel the repair after it has begun, you may be charged for labor and any parts that have been ordered or used up to that point.

11. Communication:
– We will communicate with you via your preferred method (phone, email, or text) to provide updates on the status of your repair.

12. Limitation of Liability:
– We will not be responsible for any damages due to use or misuse of our equipment. In any case, our liability is limited to the amount of the original repair invoice.

13. Changes to Terms:
– We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions without notice.

By leaving your equipment with us, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us before proceeding with the repair.

Policy for Cases Where the Projector Cannot Be Repaired:

  1. Non-Refundable Diagnostic Fee: The upfront payment (or diagnostic fee) covers the troubleshooting and diagnostic process. This fee is non-refundable, as it compensates for the time and expertise spent assessing the projector’s issues.
  2. Refund of Parts Cost: If the projector cannot be repaired, we will refund the cost of any parts ordered specifically for that repair. However, if any parts are special order or classified as non-returnable by suppliers, these may be excluded from refunds.
  3. Partial Labor Refund: In cases where extensive labor has been completed, we may offer a partial labor refund if feasible. Alternatively, labor fees may be non-refundable after repair work has begun, depending on the extent of the work completed. This approach ensures transparency and fair compensation for time spent on the repair.
  4. Customer Agreement: By engaging our services, customers acknowledge this refund policy prior to the start of repair work, ensuring clear understanding and preventing misunderstandings later on.
